In 2016, Astro Fonda was finishing his studies as an electromechanical engineer, when a spontaneous and profound spiritual awakening dramatically transformed his understanding of existence. This life-altering experience inspired him to leave his former path and jump into the void, in search for an authentic life stemming not from societal expectations, but from the newfound truth within. The next 6 years were spent in a cycle of attempts, failures, existential crisis, rebirths and new attempts at finding this path. This brought about a deepening of Astro Fonda’s spirit, which eventually led to the discovery of a spiritual calling, not as a monk or a priest, but as an artist. After receiving a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music, Astro Fonda moved to Boston in 2022 to pursue this vocation. His musical and spiritual paths merged into a single exploration of the nature of reality, transforming the crisis and revelations that abound in a spiritual journey into creative expressions of peace, love, and truth. 

Through his music, visual arts and newsletter Esferas, Astro Fonda invites others into a journey of self-discovery and transformation. His music radiates a reverence for the beauty and sacredness of life, embracing themes of forgiveness, inner peace, and the courage to shed illusions.
